Job Summary:
This position provides administrative, clerical and personal support to the President, and schedules and organizes complex activities and events in addition to special projects at the request of the President.
- Schedule and organize complex activities such as business and personal meetings, travel, and department activities for members of the Senior Management team;
- Prepare travel expense and business meeting reports;
- Create and develop visual presentations;
- Maintains all contacts and calendar for the President utilizing Microsoft Outlook;
- Organize and prioritize information and calls as needed;
- Assist the President with maintenance of "To Do" lists and other action items needing follow-up;
- Take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questions for President if needed;
- Assist in the management of President's schedule, and keep President on task on a daily basis;
- Handle confidential and non-routine information, including information of a personal nature if needed;
- Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects;
- Plan and coordinate multiple presentations, disseminate information, research companies and information as requested, and organize company-wide events;
- Type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, graphs, brochures, etc;
- Provide administrative support as required and directed by Administrative Manager and CFO;
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Training & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- 3 or more years experience working directly with Senior Management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must posses a high level of inter-personal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy;
- Must be capable of interacting and communicating, both written and verbally, with individuals at all levels of the organization;
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced level Excel skills;
- Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands;
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to adjust to changing priorities without getting frustrated;

Corporate Safety Manager

Job Summary:
A "hands on" Safety Manager who provides leadership, guidance and safety expertise to all employees of RCS and its subcontractors. Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of Safety & Health policies, procedures and programs. Ensures that each project site conforms to all applicable safety regulations. Provides solutions when sites are found to be in violation of safety standards. Oversight for safety practices, accident and workers' compensation claims investigations, accident reporting procedures, compliance monitoring, record keeping and reporting processes to effectively reduce risk, increase safety awareness, and manage costs, while optimizing productivity. The goal of RCS is
zero accidents and injuries.
Major Responsibilities/Activies:
- Participate in the review and development of safety and health policies, practices and procedures ensuring compliance with governmental regulations including federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including OSHA and WISHA.
- Must have expertise and experience with Hazard Communications programs, respiratory protection programs, fall protection, occupational noise programs, confined space programs, lock and tag, and excavation and trenching.
- Job safety audits and routine surveillance.
- Monitor new legislation as it relates to safety and health standards and practices and facilitate changes, as necessary.
- Lead the development of and provide guidance to project managers and superintendents regarding site specific issues relative to safety and health programs and practices.
- Identify, investigate, report and provide guidance relative to root causes for incidents, employee safety programs, regulatory compliance relative to safety and health.
- Participate in the development of materials necessary for a comprehensive employee and supervisor safety training program, including training modules designed to meet or exceed the safety goals of the organization.
- Monitor and analyze safety trends and implement programs designed to improve company results.
- Implement standards of performance, benchmarks and key performance indicators that allow accurate measurement of performance and improvement.
- Assist in the development of consistent pre-employment practices including safety orientation.
- Analysis of proposed subcontractor qualifications regarding employee safety and health to ensure compliance with corporate policy and long term goals.
- Perform quality assessment functions as required.
- Responsible for the management of both workers compensation and liability claims.
- Other projects and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements: (includes education, experience, specials skills and licenses or certifications required.)
- Minimum of 10 years safety management and leadership experience in the construction industry, or a 4-year degree in a safety related field with 5 years of safety management and leadership experience in the construction industry.
- Federal construction experience.
- Outstanding working knowledge of principles and practices of Safety and Health and OSHA 1926.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Highly organized and team oriented.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders, crawling, tolerant to heights and confined spaces, and not afraid of working over water.
- Valid driver's license.
- Authorized to conduct 10 and 30 hour Construction outreach training in accordance with guidelines provided by the OSHA Training Institute.
- Willing to travel internationally and able to pass a Homeland Security background check.

Project Manager

Immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager. Minimum qualifications include at least 10 years of commercial/industrial experience. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to successfully manage people and subcontractors are needed. This position will have cradle to grave responsibility and demonstrated computer skills including MS Projects and MS Office. Must be flexible in regards to limited domestic travel. Federal contract and/or federal design-build experience, including coordinating and estimating is a plus.
